For most of us in Canada we’re now about two months into our COVID-19 lockdown which is the perfect time for us to start thinking about what the future of our cities is going to look like as we prepare for significant changes in our short-, medium-, and maybe our long-term normal.

You can find the entire Night Lab team sharing their thoughts on the impact of COVID on this week’s episode of the 360° City podcast. Acknowledging the disproportionate impact of COVID on the small-business and gig-worker heavy night-time economy, Martyna, Nik and Sheena also get into how they think the current crisis is going to affect how we think about creating safer spaces, accessibility and inclusion moving forward. Will the collective sacrifices we’ve made in the name of public health over the last couple of months carry forward, creating a stronger sense of community and greater appreciation of our local surroundings? We certainly hope so.
