Mentorship is a valuable and sought-after means of professional development. How can mentorship impact your career and artistic practice? What are common challenges? Join us for presentations and a moderated Q&A with three experienced artists and administrators.

Arts Network Ottawa has launched the Ottawa Arts Mentorship Program. We welcome artists and arts professionals of all disciplines, backgrounds, and career levels to apply! Staff will be available to answer questions about the program and the application process.

From November 15-17th Night Lab’s Sheena Jardine-Olade and Nik Ives-Allison will be in Calgary at the fourth edition of the Alberta Electronic Music Conference hosted at Studio Bell.

On Saturday, November 16th at 5pm Sheena will be speaking on the “Ethics in the Creative Realm” panel alongside Bass Coast founder Liz Thomson and Knowledge Magazine’s Colin Steven.

On Sunday, November 17th at 12:15 catch Nik and Sheena at the “Dance Floor Economics” panel where Nik will be moderating and Sheena will be speaking alongside Oracle Agency’s Mathieu Constance, Smalltown DJs Pete Emes, and Calgary City Councillor Evan Woolley as they explore what it takes to build & sustain a robust nighttime economy that values the clubs and festivals that put it on the map.
